Driven by the ardent craft behind each artist and artwork, our identity and printed exhibition ephemera sought inspiration in the practices behind their creation and the act of making itself.

This culminated in typographic and compositional execution reminiscent of metalwork techniques, nodding to the materiality of the subject matter through the prominent use of Pantone silver across the printed matter. Forging a bespoke headline typeface to sit at centrestage of the identity, the construction of the lettering referenced the processes integral to the art itself, manifesting in bulbous, bubbly typography forms. Providing the identity with a greater agency, we also introduced a sharp serif typeface to support the smelted type; not only equipping a compelling contrary tension to the identity, but also reflected the sophistication and cultural significance of the pieces.
